School Dayz

So I just want to share something with you all.  Today I received a real gold metal for being an Honor Student at Rose Creek Elementary School.  I was excited, I did really well with my school work.  Lots of long hours of homework and studying paid off!

The school year is almost ending.  I've done some really cool things lately.  I had an awesome field trip to the District, where we played at the park and looked at the flowers, we hiked down a trail, went to Harmons to shop and taste yummy foods.  We went to Hobby Lobby and made a door knob craft. And we went to Petco to look at all the cool animals.  It was a blast to be outside of school the whole day.


We had a Disneyland party, because our class is doing enough physical activity to run (1/4 mile ever day) to see if we could make it to Disneyland...and we did!  We played bingo, made Mickey Mouse cookies, made a picture/signature book, and played musical chairs, and other cool stuff!

We read Charlotte's Web and had a Pig Day while we watched the movie.  We even got to eat lots of treats like a "pig" all day!

We had "Quiet as a Mouse" day.  We had to be soooo quiet all day.  We read a mouse book and ate string cheese!

We had Literacy Day where we practiced our school program with songs and how cool school is!

We had Bubble Day, where we went outside and played on the playground and blew bubbles a ton!!!!  Mrs Freeman blew these bubbles that wouldn't pop.  It was so cool!

It's just been a busy time for school and it's been really fun!  But summertime is coming and I'm excited to play with my friends!

My New Toy

My Grandma got Hayden and I a new TRAMPOLINE!  It has been so much fun to jump on!  Hayden and I have been learning all kinds of tricks!  It takes lots of practice to do a flip and I'm still working on it.  It gives me such good exercise and I'm loving the warm weather these days! This is a picture of what my new trampoline looks like.  I LOVE IT!

My Dog Callie

This is my dog Callie.  She is a Beagle.  She brown, white, and black colors on her fur.  She loves to go on walks to Old Farm Park, but she hates to take baths!  She is very gentle and patient with me and Hayden.  She LOVES treats and she loves to play a game where we hide her treats and she sniffs them out.  She is so good, she always finds her treats!

Zion Canyon Hiking

This is a few of my cousins and me.  We went hiking to Zion Canyon the day after Thanksgiving.  It was so much fun.  We hiked forever.  And we ate yummy goldfish and licorice.  And the bus ride was fun!

Poor Little Bird

One day we went out for a walk with Callie to Old Farm Park.  We walked to the other side of the river.  There was a bird that was stuck because it had something in its wing.  So Brandt and Trish hopped the fence and Brandt grabbed the bird and Trish tried to get the wire out of its wing.  The bird was bleeding and so Trish had blood all over her hands.  Trish couldn't get the wire out of it's wing so they clipped it down as much as they could and then they put the bird down and it hopped a few times and then flew off.  It looked like it looked back at us and chirped to thank us.  It's friend popped out of another tree, waiting for it, and they flew off to the pond together.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Today I colored Easter eggs with Mary and Rebecca.  It was so much fun.  They had never colored Easter eggs before! Wow!  My favorite Easter colors were dusty rose, sunset, hot pink, and turquoise.  My grandma helped us with the food coloring.  She is so nice!  We ate popcorn snacks, fruit, and jelly beans, goldfish, and popsicles, and drank gatorade and propel.  Then Skyler came over and we jumped in the jumpy house.  Then Chase, McKayden, and Ava came to play.  We played the wii and jumped in the jumpy house again.  Then me and grandma went to the store to buy a new swimming suit.  It was a little small, so we took it back to get a different size, but ended up keeping the same size.  Oh well, I'll get a new one when I grow out of this one.  It's super cute!  I can't wait to swim in it.  It's been a long day.  I just took a bath and got all ready for bed.  I can't wait for a new day!
